Great hunting today....found a must-have car care solution to fix minor scratches and swirls.....n of coz the minor ones...those which only affect the clear coat...applicable to front/tail lights and glossy plastic regions....hehe..whats most important...it restores the gloss too!! =P......not expensive thou...rm22.90 for a big bottle of 473ml.....almost unlimited usage since it requires only a small amount for each application by spot-smearing

application is juz too easy and hassle free.....i think these r one of the dirty secrets of autoshops who claim emselves to be professionals in fixing these lil' pain in the ass....hehe...

Fairlady Z photoshoot at somewhere near old abandoned Lutong airfield.....i think this is where the local weekend drag race r being held...hmm......1st would like to introduce our camera crews....starting from the very left we have gordon....pro-wannabe vincent and pro ben hehe.....here it is....our subject...the stock 350z with complete nismo v1 bodykit.....it would be really nice if i could afford her a set of 18-20" deep-dished sports rims....most of the pics r compiled here....

after the shots....being curious.....i did some donut driftin' in the open field.....in order to do that...i disabled the Traction Control System (TCS) to remove the limited slip differential control on the rear wheels...yea...we're talkin about full torque unleashed from the beast here..>=).....i steered the steerling to my right side and accelerate for the initial traction lost....and followed i jab on to let the car goes round n round !!! wow it was hella fun....pretty scary too coz u can feel as if the wheels r no longer on the ground when she kept on spining.!!....and the burnout from the rear wheels created a lot of smoke...hmph wats tat smell!? hahaz....juz like what u see in Tokyo Drift and performance drift teams...now i get to experience it myself hehe.....now she had proven me what 287bhp RWD is capable of.....sexy beast!!

hehehe...much anticipated....the show of the japanese drag race based on the 1st generation Fairlady Z and several memorable classical sport cars.....unlike Initial-D....the intense battles are more towards the competition of horse powers rather than drifts/brisk handlings on critical turnings(ell there isnt much turning anyway)...bringing engines to thier limites by boring and stroking etc etc.....

For those who doenst seem to know much about the Wangan midnight series...this is how the story goes as seen on wiki....

The story gets its roots from the actual street racing that occurs on Tokyo's Shuto Expressway, one stretch of which is known as the "Wangan" — literally meaning "bay side" although it is generally used to refer to the freeway — the longest, straightest road in the entire country. There is also road traffic to contend with, including a fair number of heavy trucks. Because of this, the action is inherently hazardous, and wrecks are common. Blown engines are also a frequent hazard, especially with the extremely high power engines.
One day, Akio Asakura, a high school student who is in his last year of study, is driving his Fairlady Z (Z31) (woot? same case as me? but i'm in the Z33) when he challenges Tatsuya Shima, a doctor, in his black Porsche 911 Turbo (964), nicknamed the "BlackBird". With his friend in the passenger seat and two girls in the back, Akio attempts to win, but is defeated. Determined to become faster, he goes to the junkyard because his mechanic friend tells him he saw a wrecked Fairlady S30 just like Akio wanted. When he sees the damaged midnight blue Fairlady Z (S30) in the junkyard, he remembers seeing this car a few years ago with a nice girl in the passenger seat. Intrigued as to why such a classic Japanese performance vehicle is about to be junked, he convinces the junkyard owner to sell it to him. The junkyard owner was told by the previous owner to scrap the car because it is cursed. He soon finds that the car is unnaturally fast due to a tuned L28 engine, bored and stroked to 3.1 L and fitted with twin turbos. He also finds that the one of the car's previous owners shares his first and last name, and had died in a horrible crash on the Wangan. Every person who takes possession of the Z ends up spinning out of control and crashing, as if the car is rebelling against its driver. This gives the blue Z the nickname "The Devil Z". The manga follows Akio's various encounters with people on the Wangan, though the central plot revolves around his constant battle with the BlackBird for Wangan superiority.

it's been half a week since the arrival of the Z.....n what i must say is.....she gave me a brand new driving experience!!! the true peformance of a sports car is defined when ur driving it ><......it really means a 5 sec car.....n it really does it on the street..every jab sticks u on the seat....hitting 100km/h in 5 sec and 140-150 for the followed 3 secs later...more km/h?! hell no...i kiu edy...dun dare to jab anymore lolzzz!!......which gave out a sexy moan when the v6 hit around 5k rpm and above....yet u wont even feel it...holyshyt.....the handling is purely superb...as if the car itself is attached to the ground...n u can 'feel' the weight and stability when ur inside....doing high speed turnings without braking is easy as nuts.....omg.......not juz by driving it..everythg r being so solid....what i can say it....its juz like driving in the game world....which responsive handlings n lust of power are at ur hands......by turning off the Traction Control System (TCS) and switch on the POWER performance button....ehh hmm.....overall....its like comparing a Desktop to slow-poke laptops.!!the system is juz VERY VERY responsive...

Fuel consumption is approximately at rm110 fuel tank for a 450-500km distance

yea.....another epic game discovered, thx to Ben thou that i dun nid to do the hectic download of it....this is the 2nd aerial combat game i've played other than the Acecombat series.....n it's totally new n revolutionary!! like the Need for speed series.....u gotta demo some skillz in driftin'!!! n now its air drift i tell u ><......the way to counter-flank ppl....dodge missiles locked on u....n also to get tailed-off hahaha.....The game also features an Enhanced Reality System (ERS), which can include radars, incoming missile detection, an anti-crash system, damage control system, tactical map, information relay, weapons trajectory control...u'll also nid to know how to handle stalls when u somewhat fck up while 'air-driftin'....or else kaboom~nose-divin' to burn in hell.......it got the feelin of being the ace pilot in the Yukikaze series ahhaa....

Aoshima 1/24 Toyota Alphard........this is my 1st time modelling a scaled vehicle miniature......i've to admit that it's tougher working on car models...coz it's not snap-fit and they ain't tat precisely made....n there r lots of missing details n colors.....summore there r confusions in the manual zzz......when compared to Bandai's products....profesional tools n skills r required....a lot of airbrushing has to be done...as well as cement glueings...

recoated the underpart a matt finishing...i've always wanted tar-like surface

colored the cushion seats black...juz like mine....i've been thinking...should i include carpets as well....but wif wat?..suggestions plz...hehe

what's the main difference between M sport version wif the normal Sedan version normally seen scattered around kuching?....well let's start wif some pictorial explanations....

darn....nvr knew that Mr. Colors metallic series could come out with such fine result =_="....great diff from Tamiya series which i've been using all these years...the mr colors r lacquer-based paints....so they take longer time to dry but provide better surface adhesion....the main problem is that it only works well wif airbrush instead of a handbrush....it's because lacquers r diff from acrylics...based on normal brush painting its hard to achieve a fairly smooth n even paint flow....rather a pain in the ass when painting narrow n small areas....xD

here r the results.....purely splendid....time to switch to Mr colors hahah.....

see...almost the same as the special edition Nu gundam...haha....

I'be been wondering....for special edition Sazabi...could the secret juz be metallic silver + clear red + gloss coat? hehehe.....

finally.....another masterpiece is completed =P....behold the RX-78 GP02A Physalis...let's start wif some of the work in progress hehe....

shyt lots of maskings and airbrushing to be done....

painted the inner part of the thruster bells red hehe....

3rd party decals...for the exact theme and insignia...luckily =_="

sprayed the bazooka, structural frames n bells wif neutray grey....the flat finishing of the paint looks nice =P

and now....the part that i hate most....preparing the flat top coat finishing.....

ccb....shyt happens...oh no my mini pipette T_T.....i hate to touch this slate sealer thg...sort of like a hardener solution...the pore of ur skin seems blocked once it get on ur it...... pretty sure mum's gonna kill me if i spill some of these on her lorenzo table =_="

about 5:5 mixture ratio wif tamiya flat base hehe......resembles sperm doesn't it? lolz

behold.....haha my 1st gunpla of 2009....nth much la actually...juz untouched unicorn from last year....haha...as expected from bandai again....they nvr dissapoint me....snap fit n highly precise!!

what i like about this kit r its weapons....espcially on how its magazines r loaded...the slide in-out n eject mechanism

as i promised....i coated the entire psycho frames from pink to clear red heheh.....

this kit is kinda special compared to most of the MGs....on 1st sight...some ppl might wonder tat y r there many hatches and seams/panel lines of its entire body...yeap...those r responsible for the hidden gimmicks it bears.....which made it inter-transformable....but from MS to MS....not MS to MA...wait till i'm done....more pics will be uploaded based on 'destroy mode'....

k la actually i'm lazy go transforms n take the pic...show u ppl samson's hmm 80% completed unicorn in destoy mode....decals n panelings r done.....impressive rite....what's left is the top coating for flat matt finishing....

17th dec 08 was a memorable day for me n also all the ex-townians who joined in the 8 vs 8 game......for that was the 1st time we played paintball haha....

armed n ready!!...the face guard googles are smeared....which reduced our sights n consequencely degraded our marksmanship...damn band of brothers....we held strong together like this.....

and ended up owned like this....lolz
