wahahha......just completed my download this morning hehe....at last....COD 5 !!! another pro FPS game from Activision...and guess whats so good about it?!...hahazz....now it's based on the World War II story line again...WWII games has been quite popular within major game developers such as EA, Activisions and THQ.....perhaps its some memorial for those brave men who had brought us peace n freedom by thier lives.....they deserves the honor...n i personally would salute them if i were to visit their memorial..... this game demonstrates the actions of brave young Allies on the eastern and western campaign....serving as frontline assaults.....yea......now they're dealing with the Japanese also instead of the Germans...this is something new ahhahz......RA3 got Japs...this also got lolz......in this game....you'll play as serveral foot soldiers with respect to the Allied's nation....American n Russian........the american role will be played as Private Miller of the 1st marine division....taking ur role in the Allied invasion in the Japanese islands...most of it as the Allied's effort to neutralize aerial threats from the japs....that's what i read from historical source.....they were trying to take out the Japanese air field which were responsible for the heavy Allied casualties on the pacific campaign due to bombing and kamikaze attacks on the US navy.......btw for those who r interested in releasing stress!!!...u can either get it
here or juz get it from me hehe...7gb like tat....
hhmmm Miller....the name sounds familiar...oh ya....the squad leader from the Academy Awards WWII epic movie
Saving private Ryan....the name was Miller as well =_="....but serving in the western campaign since D-Day against the german in the Normandy invasion......maybe Millar was a real hero back then.....
what i hav to say is that the game was so fckin real !!!....the details of the surroundings....the battlegrounds....and the sound effects, the bombings....the mutilated corpses/vehicles/buildings....the bullets shootings...the gun recoils.......the 'hii lang effect' on the ear when a bomb exploded nearby...however but this would be poorly shown on crappy pc hahaz i supposed.......holyshyt....i'd rate it 10/10 !!!.....i would say it beat Medal of Honor: Airborne....below r some of the screenies i took in game....see for uself......for ur info....the details on the pics r different from in game which means in game display is even better!!
The amphibious landings on the japanase island under heavy enemy fire and bombardment!! the effects here was so cool!! make sure u hav a set of nice speakers for the extra kick....juz like Hollywood movie scenes from D-Day or Iwojima ....hahaz
Water splashes.....vibrations....smokes and more.....taking FPS gaming to a brand new revolution experience....well done.......xD...n they also included tank navigations...turret/MG/AA mountings on aircrafts....vehicles...fortifications.......melee counter attacks....n hell lots of surrounding interactions haha.....
surgical artillery strikes is also implemented in certain circumstances which requires fortifications, tanks or bunkers to be taken out.....its juz so cool!! ahhaha....i juz played 2 missions.....so there should be more cool stuffs along the way hahaz....
silent mission.....usually on the jungles....its juz so real...not like the germans....the japanese r more into ambush attacks and the aggresive roles......they would shout "banzai" before charging against us.....when they get close enuff for melee assaults....it might be a bayonet or samurai thrust which are instant kill on the target.....=_="....sometimes i find it hard to detect or differentiate between comrades n foes because of the uniform and camouflague lolz....
the retaliation of the Russians on Berlin due to the Germans did to Stalingrad was purely brutal =_=".....eye for an eye.....
the sacrifications of 60 millions innocent lives......and the waste of resources....these could have been put into good uses but not in the hands of lunatic bitches like Hitler n Emperor Hirotito .......
WWII was indeed a global conflict which had brought severe scar on human history... not to mention that freedom ain't free becoz they r exchanged wif blood!!!! ...shyt.....imagine those rotten corpses full of maggots scattering around the battlefields n cities.....the smell.....n the gruesome sight......even the sight of rotten meat i edy cant tahan...=_="....fck imagine if the Axis won...they would hav raped all ur ancestors haha...
check out the casualties...holyshyt....civilians r the worst victims....the Communists did prove thier contributions n the love for their mother land in the war..? lolz.............24+19 millions? wtfff...but sadly...the truth was undeniable that they had to face 80% of the Nazi battalions....
i never knew that Maggie Q acts as a police officer giving tasks to u in the game =_="......u'll play as a police undercover agent trying to sniff out illegal street racing syndicates n busting em' out lolz...
the 1st mission....damn i dun get to choose my own car....instead i was given a crappy nissan shyt....=_="
