lepak lepak: Doulos

lepak wif kny, vid and my cousin to doulos this evening hehe.....its not tat i like books....juz go thr be kepo.....xD....this ship isn't tat big after all....smaller than the Gemini cruiser class i've travelled wif.... which is like 50% wider and comparatively longer than her....n yet Gemini is considered the smaller class among the starcruise lines hehe....

some technical info regarding the ship......omfg....94 years old!!....can't bliff this shyt hadn't sink yet n could make her way to our humble kch... hahaha....btw really impressed wif US's heavy machinery tat they can come up with such class of ship almost a century ago......and it's even pre-ww2 era.....what had malaysia come up wif n achieved now haha....

throughout the years since she was built.....doulos had been put into 4 service phases.....doulas was the last name assigned since 1977 till now.....previously she was named after Medina, Roma and then Franca C serving different purposes....gd thing she wasn't torpedoed by nazi subs hahah....


the patches and rivets state clearly how old the ship was =_="....so battered edy...
